Registration Dates 1st-year students: Enrollment appointments will be scheduled on June 5, am 2nd-year students: Enrollment appointments will be scheduled between July 19 and July 23 3rd-year students: Enrollment appointments will be scheduled between July 12 and July 16 4th-year students: Enrollment appointments will be scheduled between July 5 and July 9 Priority Lift Day 1: July 28 Note: course registration will be temporarily suspended on July 27 at pm EST to prepare for Priorities lifting.
When priorities lift, you must still meet all pre-requisite, co-requisite, and anti-requisite requirements. Registration will begin again July 29 at start of business day. The student must have the instructor's signed approval to audit the course, as well as approval from the Supervisor if applicable and Graduate Chair.
After the enrolment deadline, a student may not make a change from auditing a course to taking it for credit, or vice versa, within a given term. A student may, in a subsequent term, enroll in a given course for credit that has previously been audited. Graduate courses delivered online may not be audited without special permission from the program. You will not be eligible to enroll from a wait list if that enrollment will result in a time conflict or will exceed the maximum course load allowed for the term. Important: Keep track of which class you have swapped for a wait listed class.
While you can review which class you are wait listed for on your class schedule, it will not display which class you have authorized a drop from if enrollment from wait list was to occur.
You cannot modify your swap selection after you have joined the wait list. If you want to change the class you have indicated to drop then you must drop the wait listed class and resubmit a swap request.
Warning : You may lose your original position on the wait list. You can join a wait list during the course registration period. Students should try to register in a full course-load during the priority enrollment period.
If there is a different course you would like to take that has a wait list available, make sure to join the wait list using a swap request which will indicate which class to drop to make room in your schedule for the wait listed class.
When you swap to a wait list for a different course, you will not be immediately dropped from your enrolled class. You will remain enrolled in that class until you can be successfully enrolled from the wait list for the other class. Note: You cannot be enrolled in one section of a course and wait listed for another section of the same course.
When you swap to a wait list for a different course you will not be immediately dropped from your enrolled class. When you do not meet the priority constraint and a wait list option exists, then you can join the wait list so that you can be automatically considered for enrollment into the class once the priority constraint expires.
Warning: You may lose your original position on the wait list. A special permission that requires a time conflict override is not compatible with wait lists. Students should not be referred to call the Helpline to be added to a wait list. Enrollment from the wait list is done via a process so there would not be an opportunity to re-apply the time conflict override to enroll from the wait list.
Simply drop the class as you would drop any other class during the course registration period. You are responsible for dropping the class if you no longer wish to be enrolled.
