Fnm why do you bother

No comparison. Chuck slays. However, I was still of the age that my mother insisted on investigating the lyric sheet for offensive content. Evidence I dated two cheerleaders in high school.

But it probably hearkens back to picking my significant other up at cheerleading practice, watching the slow girl furrow her brow at the jokes the other cheerleaders made while The Large One did cartwheels in uniform while not wearing gym shorts to the silent horror of the non-team members in the room.

Come to think of it, this song is probably perfect for that. All that said, I was always more of a Mr. Bungle fan. It goes to show that in this incestuous circle of West Coast musical luminaries everyone could hold their own as much as the next guy.

Even though the audience may focus on one star in particular, all these guys were amazing. Thankfully the band kept it simple and Patton nailed each melody with ease and grace, making the FNM version feel comfortable and relaxing.

I almost prefer their cover to the original. When the band performed it live on their reunion tour , they would get to the part right before the final chorus explodes at the end, and then suddenly stop playing.

I think it's about losing faith in humanity godddam on January 09, Link. There was an error. It is a shame that the Chuck Mosley is pretty much forgotten even amongst FNM fans, I think some of their best songs came from his era. I think this song is just about the youth lifestyle of fucking yourself up on drugs and alcohol constantly, and being carefree about it.

The last lyrics of the song which reflect carefree driving to me are a metaphor for the way some people live their lives in almost a constant state of drunk driving where they are constantly taking risks without thinking of the conseequences.

I think it's trying to be positive overall though, saying that it's fun to live that way and that being carefree is good. I don't agree with the message, but I think that's what they're trying to say with this song.

TimPSmith on March 10, General Comment Hello, as any great song it has more than one meaning and everyone will perceive it differently. I take the song in some parts a bit literal but also with some underlying tones. He tries to fight in life but he is ineffective and already fatigued. He realizes that whatever he is postponing can't be postponed any further what he left for tomorrow is coming today and it makes him sink further into despair.

The song is about a mental state not a particular event in my opinion. The first titled Adult Themes For Voice which contains sound effects created by voice and microphone, recorded on a four track in various hotel rooms throughout the world so it says.
