Lotro light leather where to find

I have the quest for Padded Gloves. However, I can't find the light leather scraps to turn into brushed leather. I got the spool of thread from the supplier but I can't seem to find those scraps. Even the mobs I have killed so far during my questing have never dropped them although I have tons of light hides. Is there a specific mob that drops this ingredient? Reply With Quote. Dec 07 , PM 2. Join Date Aug Posts If you need brushed light leathers for your tailor, you need to get them from another player who is a forester if your PC isn't an Explorer.

The shavings-to-leathers processing recipe is intended to help you level up in crafting experience without having to obtain as many resources as we had to pre-HD. My suggestion, since you already have a stack of hides, is to see if someone in the crafting area nearest would be willing to convert some hides to leathers for you.

Malancil again Another update. You mention Fornost, well I went up there to check things out and they are of course a bit scattered, but around some grave mounds you can easily get barghests with little effort. The area is the western part of Fornost towards Evendim the approximate coordinates would starting from The northern part of that section.

All barghests are level These shaggy cows will drop 2 sturdy hides and they re-spawn very quickly. Best to circle around both lakes or in the vicinity especially at 7. I did this just today. My husband told me where it was but I wasn't exactly sure -exactly- where it was.

So I looked it up and stumbled upon this blog. The Roving Hoar-Mantles tend to give 3 sturdy hides. The Juveniles give 1 or 2. Then there is one Strong Hoar-Mantle that gives 3. The Roving will sometimes give 2. I'm a level 45 Guardian and I don't have an issue killing them with great joy to help my little Explorer Elf Rune-Keeper level through crafting. This means you will gather a lot of junk stuff filling your bags. There are always at least of them, so they often respawn right on top of you after you kill one if that kill would have reduced their numbers below 4. This place is recommended for characters higher than level Scroll down to the next part if you are below that level.

You will actually get more Medium Leather than Light Leather. But, since you will get much more leather overall, you get will almost as much Light Leather as the other places with the bonus of also getting a lot of Medium Leather. Not to mention all you have to do is basically stand in one spot without moving an inch, so it's pretty much the best place to farm both types of leather.
